The new plant of biocombustibles would be a solution for the cultivators of sugar cane, which they have seen to fall the price of the panela.
This one would be the second plant of this type in the department and a value of $16 billion of pesos. Of the whole of the work, $7.000 million will be contributed by the Department of Agriculture, $2.500 by the department and the rest by private investors.According to Henry Guzmán, secretary of Cundinamarca's Agriculture, " an alternative for the cultivators of sugar cane, due to fall the price of the panela in the zone ".Facatativá had the first plant.The first plant was constructed in Facatativá, by the company Biomax, in the complex of the Empresa Colombiana de Petroleos, Ecopetrol.Biomax has nowadays 77 stations of service in 63 municipalities and there supplies of biocombustibles to Boyacá, Cundinamarca, Cauca, Valle, Casanare, Meta, Guaviare, Risaralda, Quindío and Bogota. 
The new plant, constructed with state support in Villeta, will complement the services to cover with efficiency all this demand.
