Liquids Cargoes & Ports

At the port of Santa Marta with 10.000m2 area, the Company Terminal de Graneles Liquidos del Caribe (Terlica S.A) provides storage services and logistics for the handling of exports and imports of liquid bulk.

Terlica S.A`s mission is to promote the execution and development of Colombian Foreign Trade by providing customized services in the handling of Liquid Bulk through Sociedad Portuaria de Santa Marta, which is a natural port par excellence with depths that enable to receive all types of vessels and an easy access by railroad or road.  There is no LOA/ beam/ airdraft restriction but take into account that hoppers height is 08 meters and distance from sea level to quay edge is 1.80 meters.

Terlica Terminal has five storage tanks with a total capacity of processed 13498.349 m3 with a loading/ discharging rate of 120- 150 mts per hour. The tanks for vegetable oils have a capacity of 13.500 cbm and tanks for lubricating oil has capacity of 1`155.000 American gallons. All these tanks have specialized equipment and systems to handle different products with a laboratory for product analysis.
